Thank you for your patience as we continue to build an enhanced experience at JFK. To prepare for your journey, we highly encourage you to plan your transportation ahead of time and arrive early to avoid delays. Once you arrive, you will find check-in, security, gates and baggage claim in Terminal 4 (T4). Eligible customers will now find new Delta Sky Club® options with the opening of our new, permanent Club in Concourse A. Enjoy ample seating, soundproof booths and a covered Sky Deck. Please note the temporary Delta Sky Club Express has now closed.

You will now find Delta’s operations, including check-in, security, all gates and baggage claim solely in Terminal 4 (T4).

By Car (Checking Bags): Follow roadway signs to the Departures level to be dropped off; Zone B is for Delta One and Sky Priority customers and Zones C and D are for all other customers.

By Car (Carry-On Only): Beginning juni 06, if you are checked in and do not need to check a bag, the drop-off on the Arrivals level may be the fastest path to security. Follow roadway signs to Arrivals level, curb location A1.

By AirTrain: Gain access to T4 from the MTA and LIRR connections at Jamaica and Howard Beach Stations and at Federal Circle Station for hotel shuttle and rental car connections. 

Parking: Due to reduced capacity, we recommend you make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance and check availability at JFKAirport.com. 

Terminal Transfers for Connecting Flights with Airline Partners : Some partner airlines operate from Terminal 1 (T1) and require a terminal transfer which could take up to 1 hour:  

  • To change terminals, follow the signage on the Arrivals level to the shuttle buses that run from T1 to T4.
  • If transferring from T1 to T4, you will need to collect and present your checked bag to Customs, and then re-check your bag before continuing to your connection. Then, follow signage to the shuttle buses to T4.

Delta Sky Club: The Delta Sky Club in JFK's T4 gives eligible Members a relaxing start to their journey. With seating for more than 250 guests, the Club draws inspiration from New York culture and showcases cuisine from emerging chefs through the Local Flavor program. Members will also enjoy an expansive 360-degree premium bar, views from the covered Sky Deck ®, soundproof booths to work quietly and a cozy fireplace lounge.

Transportation

To make way for your airport arrival, we recommend:

  • Delta One and Sky Priority® customers use the drop-off location at Zone B
  • All other customers use Zones C & D for drop-off
  • Customers not checking a bag use the arrivals level drop-off for the fastest path to security
