Lynden Pindling International Airport
 (NAS) formerly known as Nassau International Airport is the largest airport in the Bahamas and the largest international gateway into the country.

Exuma International Airport (GGT)
is on the island of Great Exuma located near Moss Town just northwest of George Town.

North Eleuthera (ELH)
is on the island of Eleuthera and serves the outlying Bahamian islands of Harbour Island and Spanish Wells.

 

Swim with hundreds of Cownose stingrays and feed them by hand at Stingray Experience at Atlantis on Paradise Island. Or swim with dolphins at Blue Lagoon Island.

Book a half-day or full-day fishing charter with Chubasco Charters or Born Free Fishing Charters and angle for trophy fish like barracuda, wahoo, and kingfish.

The Bahamas have a tropical savanna climate, which means it is hot year-round and summers are quite rainy. The hottest months are June through September with average highs in the high-80s and low-90s. The coolest months are December to March, with averages highs in the low-80s.

Rainy season is May through October, but the wettest months are June, July, August, and September, when average rainfall is four to six inches a month. Rain is practically nonexistent November through April. Hurricane season is June through November.
